Designing with Purpose: Partnering with Faith Schwalback & Beverly’s Angels

There are some projects that stick with you long after launch day — not just because of the design, but because of the heart behind the work.

Over the past two years, I’ve had the joy of partnering with Faith Schwalback and her nonprofit, Beverly’s Angels, and it’s been such an honor to bring her vision to life online.

Beverly’s Angels isn’t just an organization — it’s a movement of compassion. Founded with the mission of uplifting and empowering individuals and families in times of need, Beverly’s Angels meets people right where they are, providing tangible resources, encouragement, and community support.

Faith leads this work with grace, determination, and an unwavering belief in the power of kindness.

When Faith and I first connected (a special thanks to Jessica for making the introduction and working alongside us throughout the project!), her heart for people and her desire to make Beverly’s Angels’ online presence truly reflect that mission was clear.

Over the years, we’ve collaborated on website updates, strategic design decisions, and ways to keep the site fresh and user-friendly. My goal has always been to create a digital space that matches the warmth and impact of Beverly’s Angels’ work in the community.

One of the things I admire most about Faith is her commitment to making sure Beverly’s Angels is more than just a name — it’s a resource. Whether through providing essentials, uplifting families during the holidays, or rallying volunteers for service projects, Beverly’s Angels shines a light in moments that can feel heavy.

From a design perspective, I’ve loved creating spaces on the site that tell those stories and invite others to join in. A website is more than just a place for information — it’s a tool for connection.

With Beverly’s Angels, every update we’ve worked on has been centered around that idea: making sure visitors not only understand the mission but feel inspired to get involved.

Looking back on these past two years, I’m so grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with Faith. Working with someone whose passion is so deeply rooted in making a difference makes my role as a designer feel that much more meaningful.

If you haven’t already, I encourage you to check out Beverly’s Angels and see the incredible work they’re doing firsthand. And Faith — thank you for trusting me with your vision, your brand, and your mission. It’s been such a joy to walk alongside you in this journey.

Hi, I’m Christina—designer, strategist, and your website’s new best friend.
